Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Dr. Girn, as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. Girn practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery to wisdom tooth removal. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. He can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Centrepoint Oral & Facial Surgery have all successfully completed the Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination (DAANCE). The surgical staff are experienced and certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. They also provide all of the post-surgical care, while the patient recovers from the sedation and the surgical procedure and gets them ready to be discharged home.
The administrative staff are informed personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified as well.
